Did You Know?

Established in 1808, Tuscarawas County was named after the Tuscarawas Native American people. The county became an important center for canal trade, with the Ohio and Erie Canal running through it. Today, it is known for its Amish and German heritage, as well as historical sites like Zoar Village.
