Did You Know?

Created in 1851, Noble County is Ohio’s youngest county. It played a role in Ohio’s oil and gas boom in the late 19th century and was home to Ohio’s first oil well. The county also has historical significance as the site where Confederate General John Hunt Morgan was captured in 1863 during the Civil War.
