Did You Know?

Established in 1820, Mercer County was named after General Hugh Mercer, a Revolutionary War officer. The county became home to many German immigrants, who established strong farming and Catholic traditions. Grand Lake St. Marys, originally a canal feeder, remains a key recreational site.
