Did You Know?

Established in 1809, Huron County was named for the Huron Native American tribe. The county was originally part of the Connecticut Western Reserve and became a hub for early settlers and agriculture. In the 19th and 20th centuries, railroads and manufacturing played significant roles in the economy.
