Did You Know?

Established in 1850, Fulton County was named after Robert Fulton, inventor of the steamboat. The area was originally home to the Wyandot and Ottawa tribes. The county became a strong agricultural region, with dairy and grain farming as its economic backbone. In the 19th century, it was also involved in railroad expansion.
